Béla the Barbarian | Aasimar of Drow parentage, D&D 5e Feylight Circus Background

Béla was born among a nomad tribe. He grew up with an abusive father and this contributed to his anger issues and guarded personality.

His status as fallen aasimar also contributes to his rages as a barbarian, that go beyond a normal rage.

One day he was left behind by his family, and being lost without them he was picked up by the feylight circus. Same circus Gwynn was in, and thats how they met.

His family were entertainers as well so the transition was a pretty easy one. But with him being as tall and strong as he is, plus anger issues. The circus boss actually used him in illegal pitfights to earn some cash. A good outlet for Béla to let out his rage.

In the circus he met Gwynn who reminded him of his sister. So he kinda adopted her as a sibling.
He would protect her from being harassed.

But when circus life proved crueler than anticipated they ran away together.
Béla now has to deal with his rage without the outlet of pitfights. So he often looks for a fight.
